Mike Willis

Mike is a former full time law enforcement officer and Team Leader/Point Man for an active multi-agency SWAT Team. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration of Justice as well numerous instructor certifications and credentials in Law Enforcement Training. Mike has been training nationally for organizations since 1999. He is a guest instructor/speaker and institutional provider at numerous training academies across the country, as well as presenting at many martial arts/fight gyms. Mike has trained with some of the best-known police and military tactical teams and nationally known combatives trainers and fighters in the country. He is featured in the Instinctive Hand-to-Hand Combat DVD and has written numerous published training articles. He is co-owner of a combatives and training center in the Midwest. He still considers himself a student and is continually searching to improve himself and others.

 

David Hinners

David is a retired Police Officer who worked Patrol and on a Specialty Unit with a major police department in Kansas. David has over 20 years of police and security experience. He is one of the Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) trainers for his department and the State of Kansas. He has been a national trainer since 2004 and trains recruits for his department. David has been an instructor/speaker and institutional provider at numerous training academies across the country, as well as presenting at many martial arts/fight gyms. He is co-featured in a hand-to-hand combat DVD. David has a background in wrestling, boxing and MMA-style fighting. David is also the co-owner of a combatives and training center in the Midwest.

USDSA also has several top-notch trainers from across the U.S. they utilize for larger seminars and specialized training.
